My Spring Wardrobe Wish List

As Spring slowly approaches, I've been anxious to go shopping for all new clothes.

I recently got rid of four huge bags of clothes. Which means the only items that I have are for Winter only. Of course I will be able to transition a few items, but many of the things that I have are classical pieces. I really want to dive in and start purchasing more trendier items, as I've just found that my wardrobe could be a lot more fun if I did.

So in today's post I really wanted to share with you, all of  items that I will be purchasing.

Distressed,Stretchy, Comfy, Trendy

Because I work from home, I like to purchase pieces that offer comfort, but are also stylish. Lounging in my pajamas as I work automatically puts me into rest mode. But, I don't want to walk around the house in  jeans either. If you notice as of recently, I have been sporting athleisure pieces with my more dressier items. I love wearing joggers with a pair of booties and a nice fur. It gives me comfort, but also looks like I put effort into my look (when I really didn't) :)

If you aren't sure how to style your joggers, treat them as if they were regular jeans! There are a few things to keep in mind when shopping for joggers. Do you want to be able to cuff the ankles?  Do you still want to have that tapered skinny jeans look? Pockets are also  important as well. Unfortunately, the joggers that I have on  do not have pockets and I didn't notice until I got home and ripped the tags off :(

Tapered Joggers- I picked these joggers up from H&M for only about $17.99, now that I think about it, I have to go back and get the  black pair as well! They are so comfy, light weight and fit just how I want them too. I picked up the medium  size as I wanted them to fit rather snug.

Wide Leg Trousers-   This Spring/Summer you will see an influx of wide leg trousers whether they are fitted, has prints, velvet, denim they are all the rave. I  am more on the short side, so I have been a little skeptical about picking up a pair. But, as I will be rolling out more content within these next few weeks, you will see these trouser make an appearance. Asos seems to have the best options in my opinion, if you are curvy Asos has a pair for you as well. I am always recommending Asos to all of my clients whether you are looking for something to wear on a night out, something to the gym Asos has it.

Distressed Boyfriend Jeans-  Urban Outfitters tend to has a nice range of denim. I prefer, my jeans to fit very loose on a regular basis. Although it does depend on my mood, or the type top that I am going for.

Highwaisted  Denim-  I have been in the process of purchasing more denim, as I lost a ton of weight none of  my old jeans I have fit. So I picked a cheap pair of jeans from H&M, I didn't want to splurge on jeans just yet.  Finding jeans that can fit over your hips and doesn't gap at the waist is actually really hard for me.

Now that  I think about it, I will doing a whole post on what you should look for when shopping for denim! So stay tuned for that :)

Topshop Handbags

Solid Tops. Flowy Tops & Detail

Recently, as I was going through my closet, I realized that I don't have a ton of basic tops. They are either too dressy or  don't have enough detail. While basic tops are the perfect casual on the go look, it's great to have a nice selection of tops with some sort of detail. Details could be anything from embroidery, peplum , ruffle neckline, ruffle sleeves, stripes florals etc.  With just these small details it's really easy way to make your tops appear more feminine. If  you're not big on jewelry, I say go for the details.

Here are a few of the tops that I will be picking up! And if you didn't know this I LOVE graphic T-shirts so I recently placed my order for the Black Panthers Marvel graphic top!! I'm so excited and can't wait to style it.

Mules. Sneakers, Slides

Living in the city we are always on the go, whether it's heading to the Zoo, to Michigan Ave we are always moving. But also, I just love to be comfortable. I love a nice sneaker, preferably my adidas tubular, they are super comfortable, and can be worn with workout gear, joggers, jeans etc. Mule slides are a healthy balance between dressy, casual, and comfort. Last Spring and Summer  I could always be seen in my fur slides, I plan to pick up a few more as I made the smart decision to wear my fur slides to the beach :(

 Get Up and Go Co-ord

For those days where you are in a rush and don't have time to pick out an outfit, I love to just wear a co-ord set. Boohoo has a nice selection of  co-ords, I have a black set that comes with a nice ruffled sleeve top and leggings. Here are a few examples of co-ord sets.
