My Travel Skincare Must Haves

A few weeks ago, my husband and I traveled to 3 different countries and one new state. The first thing that I immediately packed was my skincare products. Skincare is bae! It’s my favorite routine of the day after my coffee and my morning routine. I knew that we would be in the sun a lot. which would more than likely result in peeling and dry skin, I was correct!

I think we’ve all been there, travel to a new climate and your skin has to completely adjust. Sometimes It does not happen at all, in the past I have made the mistake of just traveling with the basic skincare products a cleanser and moisturizer and that’s it.

That doesn’t work for me. I have to do a face mask 3- 4x a week, plus use a toner, eye cream and a serum.

Unfortunately the sunscreen that I packed did not work at all for my skin. After a quick soak in the hot tub, the sunscreen began to peel and of course being a brown girl and having eczema it made me look super ashy. Ekkk, it was embarrassing, so I’m on the hunt for a lotion that has SPF included.

As far as my skincare for my face! I was all set.

I traveled with the new Shea Moisture Matcha set. I couldn’t not travel without it.

The Shea Moisture Matcha Green Tea + Probiotic Clay to Cream Cleanser was the perfect choice to travel with.

It’s a cleanser and a mask, which made it super easy to pack. It isn’t travel sized so I made sure to tuck into my suitcase, because there was no way I was leaving this baby behind. A full review will be coming soon about the complete set, I wanted to give each item a good try.

Shea Moisture Matcha Green Tea & Probiotics Toner. I am super picky about my skin toners. I love my Pixi Glow toner, but I didn’t have a small travel size to take with me. So Packed the Shea Moisture Matcha Green Tea probiotics Toner. The toner just enhanced the glow of my skin due to the amazing Haitian sun.

The skin around my eyes are the first to become dry normally. So I was super happy to be able to bring along the soothing relief eye cream. I didn’t use it daily, but I did apply it as needed.

As far as the moisturizer I brought, it was the Derma E Argan Oil Blend. This helped with peeling skin and I also used it in my hair as well. This was a lifesaver and is definitely one of my holy grail essentials.
