Summer Skin Care Essentials

So I have a confession to make. I have a slight obsession with skin care products, like seriously for the sake of not boring you with all of my products, I decided that I would talk about the products that I reach for daily/weekly.

I always find myself down the skin care aisle I love, love face mask. I try to do them at least 2x a week, if it's been a super bad week then I may add a few extra face mask in there. As of recently, I've been working hard to get the super glowy dewy skin. I had no idea how hard this would be I switched up my diet, started exfoliating more but then I came across the Charcoal Detoxifying Mask.

Charcoal Detoxifying Mask

I came across this while browsing the skin care aisle at Walgreens, I didn't think twice about purchasing it because it cost me about $3.99. I use this stuff 2x a week because most products don't give me the results I want due to me not being consistent. So with consistency, this stuff actually has proven to work. My skin is more hydrated and is a little radiant but has a long way to go before I achieve my end results.

Tea Tree Oil

Because this stuff is so strong I have a cute little spray bottle, I mix the Tea Tree Oil with a little water and I created my own face toner.  Tea Tree oil is very good for blemishes, plus skin tags. While I was pregnant with my daughter I had a few skin tags which were on my face and I couldn't remove them because obviously, I didn't want to get any more spotting on my face. Luckily the Tea Tree Oil has helped remove those skin tags. Thank GOD!! I hated those things on my face.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a staple product in our household. We have a jar in the kitchen for cooking, and a jar that we use for skin, and one for hair. I know some of you may think this is too heavy or oily to use on your face. But that's exactly what I need, my skin is really dry especially in the Chicago winter. I've tried a few lighter products but  Coconut Oil has not failed me yet.

Garnier Gentle Sulfate- Free Cleanser

This gentle cleanser is my fave at the moment, after washing my face doesn't feel sticky as most soapy products tend to leave my skin. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling super tight and dry, I love that this cleanses my skin without leaving my skin dry.
