If you follow me on Instagram and occasionally check out my insta-stories then you know that I have just been obsessing over fall fashion. I thought I would share a few tips that I always apply to each seasonal wardrobe change.
Assess Your Wardrobe
Before going on a really big shopping trip I have to go through my closet and assess what I already have. I do this because it allows me to figure out what pieces I should buy to further style items that I already have. As well as figure out what I am just lacking in general. For me, I am lacking basic T-shirts, Cardigans, and Chunky Knit Sweaters.
I am a bargain shopper by nature. I love finding deals, it's almost like a competition for me unless it's something that I absolutely can't live without then I will always find the option that will allow me to stretch my money. I am on the hunt for a super cute pair of over the knee boots preferably blue I won't wear these every single year so I am def going to find a cheaper option. I also need a new leather jacket, this is something that I will def SPLURGE on because I know that every year the leather jacket will be a wardrobe staple.
Before going shopping do not be afraid to get inspired by your favorite style muses and replicate a few of their looks. The key to doing this is to pay attention to the key pieces that they are wearing. The key piece is usually what we are attracted to that completes the look. Sometimes it's easy to duplicate the look if you have that similar item.
