While I don’t have the trendiest wardrobe, I thoroughly enjoy studying the latest fashion trends. Even more, I love when retailers adapt these trends in a more affordable way. While the past 2 years have been all about comfortable loungewear, you will see that we are ready to get dressed in clothes that are more dressed up. This season you will see a resurgence of classic trends and some that are 90s influence. And of course, you will also see some new emerging trends in fashion.

I can’t remember the last time I saw pleated skirts trending. Pleated skirts and dresses are fall dress trends that you definitely want to add to your wardrobe. Pleated skirts can easily be layered with an oversized chunky sweater, oversized blazer or, even a trench coat. Because we are seeing a lot of workwear this season, if you want to stay on trend definitely go for an oversized blazer for that trendy workwear look.

Architecturally, Balmain is one of my favorite designers. I love how they always play with texture and shapes. In their Fall Preview Fashion show, we see a ton of quilted designs from skirts, coats, and even shoes.
Leather Over The Knee Boots
While I don’t believe that over the knee boots have completely went out of style. You will still see them trending more significantly this season. However, Over the knee boots will be in a ton of different colors, prints and even texture.

In 2010 oversized blazers with big shoulders was definitely a thing. During this time the best places to find them was a local vintage shops. And since 2020 because many have been working from home. The oversized blazer trend is very suiting as many have been heading back into the office. Tuxedo pants paired with a basic tee or tank top has definitely been a trend that I have been seeing all over TikTok. Honestly, I have never bee a fan of these pants. Mainly because they remind me of a working in a boring office durig the 80s. But honestly, I loved the more casual twist that I have been seeing many take on.
Oversized & Reconstructed Leather

The reconstructed leather is my absolute favorite this season. Not only that but the all leather look is such a cool and stylish look to add to your fall wardrobe. And if you want to take it a step further definitely go for the oversized leather jacket. Instead of splurging on this trend you can always head to a vintage shop as they often have the best oversized authentic leather jackets.
Corset

With the rise of waist training its a no brainer for corsets to be trending. But the corset look goes much further than the traditional corset bustier. You can spot corset blouses, corset dresses the list goes on.
