I can tell you which beauty products I bought this year. More useful? I can tell you which ones I bought again, which ones my whole household uses, and which ones I like enough to recommend even when there is something about them I would change.
There was the moisturizer an Ulta associate put me onto when I was trying to get my skincare together. The nail glue I came back to after spending around $100 at a salon and having my Gel-X nails pop off. The body wash we finish every month. And the curly wig I have now purchased twice.
So yes, I am giving them awards. Welcome to the Autum Love Beauty Awards 2026: my edit of the best beauty products on Amazon that I have personally bought and used this year so far.
Some are repeat purchases. Others are products I would buy again or accessories that have become part of how I get ready. What they share is a place in my actual life, from doing my own nails to getting two kids through wash day.

How I Chose My Winners
I went through my 2026 purchases and my own experience with each product, then chose favorites by the job they do in my routine. These are my personal awards, based on use, preference, and whether a purchase felt worth making again. Products I bought earlier than 2026 can qualify if I continued using or buying them this year.
I have also kept the caveats. A product can be good and still feel too oily for everyday use, make my hair stiffer than I want, or come in a pack that is too small for how often I use it.
Best Moisturizer I Repurchased
medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream
Amazon
Medicube Capsule Cream with Salmon DNA PDRN
$21.90
An Ulta associate is responsible for this one. Over the summer, I had run out of skincare and went in trying to get my routine together. A Black woman with beautiful skin and makeup helped another Black woman (me) out, gave me her routine, and yes, I bought the products she recommended. This moisturizer was one of them.
The first jar lasted a few months, and I bought it again. It is now my favorite moisturizer. The strongest compliment I can give a skincare product is that I went looking for another one when I ran out—and that is exactly what happened here.
I wrote more about the moisturizer in my medicube PDRN capsule cream review.
Best Exfoliating Pads in My Routine
medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0
Amazon
Medicube Toner Pads
$18.90
These were another recommendation from that Ulta trip in June. At the beginning of the year, I was frustrated with tiny bumps and could not figure out what to do with my skin. These pads became part of the routine that changed how my skin looked to me.
I have purchased them again, including during Prime Day. That repeat purchase matters more to me than a product being everywhere online. This is my experience with them, rather than a promise that someone else’s skin will respond the same way.
Best Skincare Product I Gave Time to Work
The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane
Amazon
The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane
$11.90
At the beginning of the year, my skin was going through something. I even sent a photo to ChatGPT and asked for help. Yes, she and I had a skincare conversation. Retinol came up, and this is the one that stayed in my routine.
I did not notice a change overnight. It took about three to four months before I felt I could see results. I now use it at night once or twice a week. That patience is the part I would emphasize: my opinion comes from months of use, rather than one especially good morning.
Best Everyday Cleanser in My Lineup
Paula’s Choice RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser
Amazon
Paula’s Choice RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser
$28
This was one of my first higher-end facial cleansers, and my review is refreshingly uncomplicated: it does what I need it to do. Sometimes a product earns its place by being a dependable part of the routine rather than giving me an elaborate story to tell.
I have plenty to say about the products that surprised me, but I also appreciate a straightforward cleanser that I am happy to keep using. This is that purchase for me.
Best Overnight Mask for My Morning Glow
BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask
Amazon
BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask
$19
Amazon kept recommending this mask, and eventually I caved. This time, I was happy I did. I like being able to wear it overnight and wake up with skin that feels hydrated and looks glowy to me.
That morning-after feeling is why it made my list. It is the mask I would point to when someone asks which of those constantly recommended Amazon skincare purchases I actually enjoyed.
Best Eye Patches I Keep Coming Back To
Abib PDRN Retinal Eye Patches
Amazon
Abib PDRN Retinal Eye Patches
$23
As a mom of two, some days start at 4 a.m. Under-eye patches have become a favorite part of getting ready, and Abib is one of the options I recommend. I go between these and my newer medicube patches.
I like having this step in my routine. My recommendation is about what I enjoy using; I am not going to pretend that a pair of patches replaces sleep.

Body Care & Grooming Winners
Best Shave Oil I Would Buy Again
eos Vanilla Cashmere Shave Oil
Amazon
eos Vanilla Cashmere Shave Oil
$8.99
I started using shave oil while trying to improve the look and feel of my legs after shaving. What keeps me buying this one is how hydrated my legs feel afterward. I do not need much product, which is another reason I like it.
This is a repurchase and an easy recommendation from my own routine. If you are browsing shave oils, this is the one I can speak about from actual use.
Best Household Body Wash Repurchase
eos Vanilla Cashmere Body Wash
Amazon
eos Vanilla Cashmere Body Wash
$11.98
I always say this is an eos household. The body washes, the lotions—we love eos over here. Vanilla Cashmere body wash is one of those purchases that has moved beyond being something I am trying.
We run out of it monthly, and I buy it again. There are products I recommend because they were an exciting discovery, and then there are the ones the household keeps finishing. This belongs firmly in the second group.
Best Body Wash for a Lather I Love
Olay Fresh Radiance Body Wash, Strawberry & Mint
Amazon
Olay Fresh Radiance Body Wash, Strawberry & Mint
$9.99
This is another body wash I have repurchased. I love the lather, and the bottle lasts a long time in my routine. That combination makes it an easy one to keep on the shopping list.
The eos body wash gets the household-staple award; this Olay bottle gets its own place because a good lather is something I actually notice and enjoy. Both have earned another purchase.
Best Grooming Tool for My Travel Bag
Risina 2-in-1 Bikini Trimmer
Amazon
Risina 2-in-1 Bikini Trimmer
$23.99
Buying replacement razors was getting annoying, so I decided to try this trimmer. It is portable, easy for me to use, and convenient to travel with.
I also have not needed to recharge it since purchasing it. I cannot give you a measured battery-life test, but that has been my experience so far. The practical appeal is simple: this is a tool I find easy to keep using.
Best Antiperspirant for My Routine
Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid, Powder Protection
Amazon
Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid, Powder Protection
$13.97
I was looking for a deodorant that helped with sweating, and this became my favorite. It is one of the least glamorous purchases on the list and one of the ones I am happiest to have found.
My recommendation is personal: this is the product that answered what I was looking for in my own routine. It deserves a spot alongside the more exciting-looking beauty purchases.
Hair, Wig & Styling Winners
Best Family Wash-Day Set
Carol’s Daughter Coco Creme Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Butter Set
Amazon
Carol’s Daughter Coco Creme Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Butter Set
$30.27
I bought the set and use the shampoo and conditioner on my son’s hair, my daughter’s hair, and my own. I love that it works its way into our household wash days rather than becoming another set of bottles only one person reaches for.
I consider it affordable, and it lasts us a pretty long time. That is the kind of value I pay attention to: how a purchase gets used once it is actually in the house.
Best Edge Control for My Edges
KISS COLORS & CARE Maximum Hold Edge Fixer, Sweet Peach
Amazon
KISS COLORS & CARE Maximum Hold Edge Fixer, Sweet Peach
$8.97
I first bought this at Walmart a few years ago, and it has stayed with me ever since. Of the edge controls I have tried, this is the one that actually holds my edges the way I want.
That history is why it gets an award here. It is a longstanding favorite that also shows up in my Amazon purchases, and I do not feel a need to keep searching just because something newer comes along.
Best Half Wig I Purchased Again
Curly Human-Hair Half Wig, 24 Inch
Amazon
Curly Human-Hair Half Wig, 24 Inch
$128
I normally wear sew-ins or a silk press, but I wanted a change from frequently having my hair pulled up. This curly half wig became that option, and the purchase in this edit is my second one.
I wash it, deep condition it, and refresh it with water and a little curl product or leave-in conditioner. I sew my wigs down using weaving thread and a needle. Having a wig I can wash and refresh is a big part of why I went back for another.
Best Wig Caps for My Routine
MYKURS Dark Brown Wig Caps
Amazon
MYKURS Dark Brown Wig Caps
$6.99
These are the wig caps I prefer. The curly wig came with an HD cap, but I had a bad experience with that cap around my edges. I went back to dark brown caps and have stayed with them.
This is a very personal part of wearing a wig, and my recommendation comes from that experience. They are the caps I called the best when I went through my purchases, and they are the ones I choose for my own installs.
Best Wrap for My Silk Press
DONNA Satin Wrap Cap
Amazon
DONNA Satin Wrap Cap
$7.34
When I have a silk press, this is the wrap cap I use. It is part of how I wrap my hair, and it is one of those little accessories I would absolutely tell someone about while talking through my routine.
A hair purchase does not have to be a new styling product to matter. Sometimes it is the thing you use after the styling is already done.
Best Bonnet That Looks Like a Hat
Satin-Lined Slouchy Bonnet, Black
Amazon
Satin-Lined Slouchy Bonnet, Black
$13.99
I love this bonnet because it is cute and looks like a hat. If I want to go outside wearing a bonnet without the look of a traditional sleep bonnet, this is the one I recommend.
I also use it during workouts over my head tie. The shape is what makes it stand out in my collection: it fits into the way I actually get through the day.
Best Head Tie for My Workout Routine
NIKE Dri-Fit Fury Head Tie
Amazon
NIKE Dri-Fit Fury Head Tie
$14.98
When I work out with a silk press, I tie this around my edges and put my satin-lined bonnet over it. In my experience with that combination, my silk press has not curled back up around my edges.
This is the routine I use, rather than a claim that every workout or every head of hair will behave the same way. The head tie has earned its place because I keep reaching for it when it is time to exercise.

Best Everyday Ponytail Essential
Kitsch Satin Scrunchies, Black Five-Pack
Amazon
Kitsch Satin Scrunchies, Black Five-Pack
$7.99
When I am wearing a ponytail, satin scrunchies are what I use. This black five-pack is the one in my purchases, and it is an easy accessory to include because it reflects what is actually in my routine.
I like a beauty edit that makes room for the small things. A scrunchie may not be the most exciting purchase in the cart, but it can be one of the most frequently used.
Best Lightweight Hairspray for My Sew-In
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray
Amazon
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray
$7.99
When I am wearing a sew-in, this is a hairspray I like reaching for. I find it lightweight, and I appreciate the affordable price point.
I have tried other humidity products, including one my stylist introduced me to, but I do not want the same finish every day. This Garnier spray gets its award for the way it fits into my own sew-in routine.
Best Nail Glue for My Press-Ons
Glamnetic Brush-On Nail Glue
Amazon
Glamnetic Brush-On Nail Glue
$7.99
I have been doing my own nails since 2020. A recent salon visit cost me around $100, and the Gel-X nails popped off. That sent me right back to the products I use at home.
Glamnetic is my favorite nail glue. I have tried plenty of others and dealt with nails popping off, but this is the one that works best for me. I think you have to find the glue that works for your own nails; this is the one I highly recommend from my experience.
Best Nail-Tip Multipack I Reorder
BTArtboxnails XCOATTIPS French Tips, Short Almond, Pink Glitter Base
Amazon
BTArtboxnails XCOATTIPS French Tips, Short Almond, Pink Glitter Base
$21.99
I love buying enough nails that I am not shopping for a new pack every week. These are frequent reorders because I get a lot in a pack. I have paid $21.99, and a pack can supply my manicures for about a year.
I like the short length, and they have not chipped in my experience. I use a top coat with mine. The value here is in the supply of tips across multiple manicures—not one set staying on for a year.
Best White Press-On Toenails for My Summer
LuckForever White Press-On Toenails, 168-Piece Pack
Amazon
LuckForever White Press-On Toenails
168-Piece Pack
These were my favorite toenails this summer. I use them with Glamnetic brush-on glue, and I get questions about my toes. My answer is usually some version of, ‘Girl, Amazon.com.’
The multipack is a big part of the appeal. I wear press-ons often, so I like purchases that give me enough pieces to keep doing my nails rather than replacing the whole pack after every manicure or pedicure.
Best Lash Kit I Want to Repurchase
Pawotence DIY Lash Cluster Kit
Amazon
Pawotence DIY Lash Cluster Kit
$14.99
My first lash clusters looked so light that I could barely tell I was wearing them. I bought more, and this DIY kit is the one I gave a nine out of ten.
I enjoy doing my own clusters, although it takes some learning and getting used to. I need to repurchase this kit. That is a plan rather than an order I have already placed, but it tells you where it landed in my lineup.
If you are building your own nail setup, our at-home gel manicure kit guide covers more options.
My Newer Skincare Finds
Two medicube products are newer additions, so I am keeping them here as early favorites rather than giving them the same weight as products I have used for months.
medicube PDRN Collagen Volume Multi Balm Stick
Amazon
medicube PDRN Collagen Volume Multi Balm Stick
$19.90
I picked this up during Prime Day for $11 and felt it was worth it. I am already happy with what I am seeing, but it is still a recent purchase. The $11 was my deal price at the time.
medicube PDRN, Caffeine & Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patches
Amazon
medicube Hydrogel Eye Patches
$21.90
These were another Prime Day purchase. I have been using them in my routine after the balm stick and alternating with Abib. As someone whose mornings sometimes start at 4 a.m., I enjoy having an under-eye patch moment. They are a newer addition I am enjoying.
More Beauty Purchases I Liked—and the Details I Would Tell a Friend
HFATMOS facial razors
Amazon
HFATMOS facial razors
$3.99
I use these for the little facial hairs I like to remove and for reshaping my brows. I chose the multipack so I would not have to keep buying individual razors throughout the year.
Motanar grooming scissors
Amazon
Motanar grooming scissors
$5.99
These do double duty in my routine: trimming my brows and cutting thread when I sew down my wigs.
Ryalan weaving thread and needle set
Amazon
Ryalan weaving thread and needle set
$6.99
This is the thread-and-needle set in my wig supplies. I sew my wigs down, so it is a practical part of the setup behind the finished hairstyle.
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Gloss & Shine Mist
Amazon
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Gloss & Shine Mist
$9.12
I like this when my silk press starts looking dull or frizzy. It can feel a little oily to me, so I do not use it all the time.
Joico Humidity Blocker+
Amazon
Joico Humidity Blocker+
$25
My hairstylist introduced me to this one. It makes my hair feel harder than I always want, which is why I reach for it less often.
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray
Amazon
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray
$14
COLOR WOW Dream Coat is also in my hair lineup. If you know, you know. I use the travel-size bottle in this edit alongside the other styling products I have talked about here.
Modelones extra-short squoval French press-ons
Amazon
Modelones extra-short squoval French press-ons
$9.99
I love the short shape because I type a lot. I still recommend them, but I did not repurchase this pack because I prefer larger quantities for the way I do my nails.
Glamnetic The Vow press-on toenails
Amazon
Glamnetic The Vow press-on toenails
$15.99
I love these, but the 32-piece pack is smaller than I prefer for regular use. I am trying to avoid buying a new pack every week, even when I love the design.
Glamnetic The Vow short almond nails
Amazon
Glamnetic The Vow short almond nails
$19.99
I bought the matching fingernails as well, and I love and recommend them. They are the coordinated option I enjoyed alongside the toenail set.
Goddvenus wispy lash clusters
Amazon
Goddvenus wispy lash clusters
$9.99
A YouTuber doing her own clusters made me curious enough to try these. I recommend them, but getting comfortable with application takes practice, and I do not wear them all the time.
Beauty Secrets nail glue and file bundle
Amazon
Beauty Secrets nail glue and file bundle
$13.71
I like this glue and the included file. A problem with the top breaking kept me from reordering it. I still recommend the glue alongside Glamnetic; the packaging issue is the part I would tell a friend about.
The Products I Would Put Back in My Cart
The clearest repeat purchases in this edit are the eos shave oil and body wash, Olay body wash, medicube moisturizer and pore pads, curly half wig, and BTArtboxnails. Those are the purchases I have already gone back for.
That is what I want these awards to capture: products with a reason to stay. The reason might be a wash-day set my family uses, a moisturizer I finish, or a nail multipack that suits how often I do my own manicures.
Tell me which category you want more of next: skincare, hair and wigs, or the at-home nail routine.
